Car Registration – Buying new car in New Jersey to be registered in Delaware?

deepasuma03 asked: I live in Delaware and getting a great deal on new car from a dealer based in NJ . I would like to know what documents to take from the dealer and I would do all the work for tax & title and registration.
Please advise on pitfalls and any know issues. I just do not want to be con by the dealer?

The dealer won’t con you. They should be able to do everything for you. I bought a car in NY as a resident of NJ. The dealer pretty much took care of everything.
