Documents required for buying new car?

I am planning to buy my first car. What documents will I require to carry to the dealership? Do I need a car Insurance to buy a new car (my first one)?

You should bring your valid Drivers License as well as a recent pay stub in the event the require proof of income. It’s also a good idea to bring a utility bill in case they ask for proof of residency. If you are financing, you will need proof of full coverage insurance. Good Luck.
