Doing my persuasive Agrument paper on gas vs electric cars any ideas?

Shanny asked: Why people should buy electric and energy efficient cars to help the environment and how much you can save on gas is an idea that someone gave me to do on my paper but I need some good solid points and sources.. Anyone have any good ones or websites?
Also its a persuasive argument paper.. I haven’t done one of these in some time so can someone give me a run down on how I should set it up. Has to be 2 papers min.

    I have several things to offer:

    One you should by an electric vehicle beacuse it is calen burning. There are absolutely no emmisions. Since there are no emissions it helps the environment a lot. If the electricity is porduced by solar the cost of a fillup would be less than a dollar.

    A: Quick desciption on gasoline and electric cars

    II: Detailed info on Gas Cars
    A: Pros
    B: Cons
    C: Other Info

    III: Detailed Info on electric Cars
    A: Pros
    B: Cons
    C: Other Info

    IV: Summary
    A: Quick Conclusion how eclectric Cars could be better than gas cares and how they can be Improved

    I wrote something on that a while back, use anything you like (but cite me properly).  At $3.00/gallon, the cost of a gas-powered car is reaching the cost of a solar-powered electric car.  Further, the price of oil is headed up while the price of solar and wind power is headed down.

    And here’s an article about how we could have a 65% solar electrical grid in the U.S. by 2050 and almost 100% by 2100
    Check out this article in Scientific American about how to achieve this solar electric grid….

    Then we could have electric cars entirely, because the grid would provide clean juice for charging them.

    gas vs elec , the blown fuel drag racers are being blown away by the elec drag race cars … something to look into
