How Can people Hit and Run your car and not care?

Same way people kill a store clerk for 45 dollars. They don’t care..and they have no consciouses and they must be killed!!!!!!!!! hahah just kidding. kindof
because they probably had no insurance or were illegal aliens or just didn’t want the hassle of going through insurance which would raise their rates

HOW? Very easy. I live in NYC and car damage is very normal.
In large cities it is well known that people will more likely commit crime knowing they can get lost in the crowd. You would think that people are mostly honest but data shows otherwise.

P.S. If you get caught not reporting after an accident, that is considered hit and run. The hitting is civil case, running made it a criminal case.
They probably didn’t have car insurance and were scared.
I don’t think its that they don’t care, its more that they care more about not getting caught than about a stranger having to pay a deductible.

well I mean if theres like a video evidence of your acusations then maybe you can take it to court and if you dont then well youll just have to pay that money!…sry
maybe they do care, but are scared of u, or of paying, or maybe they didnt have insurance. i would stay if i did that to someones car. but if it was parked on street, how they gonna know whose car it is, and where they are?
The charge of DUI usually encourages people to run if they have been drinking.
Much less penalty to hit and run than to drink and drive.
People suck. Straight up.
This has happened to me many times through the years. There are way too many cars on the road & most people drive like idiots! This is the society we live in. Try not to let it get to you too much.
People are jerks and dont care. Most likely, the person that hit you was either in a hurry, or even more likely, they didnt have insurance. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
cuz it was an accident, & they can’t afford to pay for it. or they had a suspended license, etc.

My friends car he had for two weeks got hit the other day by a shopping cart at his work and he has to pay a 500 deductible as well.
