Be aware of any odd noises. When you go somewhere keep an eye underneath the car when you get back to make sure there are no oil stains and other fluids. If there is pop the hood. Sometimes the coolant boiled over or the condenser just sweats. Once in a while crawl under the car to check for leaks. Just make sure the car is not real hot. google basic car care. Follow the one marked "severe" and you'll get 200K out of it easily. Let me know if you don't have a manual and I'll send you a list.
