Victoria Z asked: I am 17 years old and I am just wondering how much I will have to pay for my car insurance. My mom has Geico, and I am sure that will be the one I will have, too. Help!

Well you and your vehicle (if you have your own) need to go on your mom’s policy. It really depends on your mom as to how much you’ll be paying. Geico is considered high risk which means either your mom has lousy credit, or she has a not so good driving record. Just have your mom call Geico and have them tell her how much it would cost to add you to her policy. Simple as that.
Have your Mom call Geico, and ask for a quote. They can tell you how much it will add to the insurance policy to add you as a driver, without making any changes to the policy.
The premium will vary depending on certain factors that either increase or decrease the risk associated with covering you.
