How much is taking care of my new car going to cost me?

njoyabl asked: I just bought a 2003 Lincoln LS from an auction last week. Everything seems to be running smoothly. I plan to take it to have a diagnostic test this week to ensure that there are no problems or just very minor. I love these cars and could not resist it, but I wonder how much it would cost to regularly maintenance this vehicle. It has only had one owner and has pretty low miles. Can you tell me some helpful information on suggestions on caring for it or even if it is a good car?

Congrats on your car! The best thing you can do is open the owner’s manual and go by the “severe service” table. If you go by the manufactures service recommend service, you will keep it in pretty good shape. As for the cost, it depends where you bring it in for service. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Find a good shop in your area and ask them about their services. Also ask your friends where they bring their cars to. Good Luck!
