Get a "turbo timer" for your car. It's an electronic gadget that keeps your car running for a set amount of time after you remove the key. They have all kinds of safety features like turning off the car if you release the parking brake, etc.

For most cars you can get a wiring harness adapter that will just plug into the cars harness and does not involve cutting any wires.

Don't' know much about Turbo Engines, but nice car man.

Just follow the manufacturers maintenance schedules as best a possible; that alone prevents lot of problems.

Enjoy your acceleration.

The only special turbo-related step is to let the engine idle for a few seconds prior to shutting it off - this will keep the turbo unit lubricated thus preventing dry starting.
