yes its like anything else the sun will fade the color out of it and also cause it to eventually crack and peel off, weather takes its toll on everything regardless of what it is,when it goes from cold to hot so many times it does loose its shine and ability to look good, keeping it polished will help add life to it and make it last longer, but time will eventually get any paint job, good luck.

Wash and wax it regularly, park in the shade if possible, but not under a tree.

Yeah, don’t leave it outside if you want to keep the paint in mint condition. Here’s the issue, UV Rays from the sun are highly destructive to all pigments. There are many UV blockers in paint these days, and clear coats are very good, but they are no match for the elements 24/7/365. So do you self a favor if you want to keep it mint and leave it outside, just buy a cover and cover your car up. It’s cheap and easy, it just sucks to put it on or take it off when its raining.
But if mint condition isn’t an issue leaving your car outside wont be to bad for it if you keep the clear coat protected, and like the above comment wax it and use a cover.
