If the NTSB cares so much about pilot training, why doesn’t the NHTSA care about car driver training?

Airlines have a great safety record & they harp on pilot training. Why doesnt the NHTSA do the same for car drivers?

Or does the transplant industry not want to shut down supplies?

I’ve often wondered why more driver training isn’t required. The cost of car insurance, the accident rates…but heaven forfend people should have to be good drivers. What an infringement on their rights!

& of course, the auto industry is in enuf doodoo.
