I think that may have been true 30 years ago, but not today. They used to say "buy a car made on a Wednesday because the workers are happier and more productive".

definitely don't buy a Friday car.

all the people who say there is no reason, have obviously not worked on many brand new vehicles.

Ive seen some very simple mistakes, anyone would make during the last hour of the last day of the week.
Ive also seen some pretty serious mistakes... not allowed to discuss.

I can't fathom as to why it would make a difference. There are, of course, known problems at times with vehicles made between certain dates where manufacturing tolerances were blown, but for days of the week? That's ridiculous.

I doubt you could find out the exact date , but could be possible . It's just meant to be a joke saying it was built on a friday , meaning they were in a rush to get off work and get to the weekend , hardly applies now a days with all the computerized engineers and robots etc.

I havent ever heard anything like that. The only thing I have heard is when a car company comes out with a new model the first few years the company is still getting the kinks out. So wait a few years to purchase. If you want to know the date it was manufactured look inbetween the driver side door.
