Selling used car, should I hand over my maintenance records?

G-man asked: I am selling my car and have shown the buyer all the maintenance records over the past few years. They are asking me for the records to keep, but I am hesitant b/c they have my personal information on them. Is there any reason I should give them with the car?

tell them you’ll make copies and send them to him after he buys the car.
