Disadvantages... 1. The batteries cannot be recycled. The lithium content of those batteries is known to cause birth defects such as failure to thrive and twisted limbs. 2. They are disposable throw away cars. The batteries lifespan is 100k miles or 5 years. The cost to replace the battery is MORE than an ENTIRE engine.. so they are all very likely to be junked when the battery goes bad. There are no advantages.

Disadvantages…
