What car insurance company allows you to pay your policy in full for the whole year rather than 6months?

Miss M asked: I want to pay my car insurance in full for a year, instead of 6 months. Geico and Progressive will not allow me. I live in New York City, Bronx County. Please help!

I was going to say every company will let you pay for a year, but maybe I’m wrong…try different companies, surely one out there will. Good luck!

    Hi Miss M,

I believe every company will write a 12 month policy.

I use a little company out of Texas the insures me in New York City. I went with them because they are 40% cheaper.

    Good Luck :)

Travelers writes a full year auto policy & writes in NY. The best thing for you to do is to contact a local independent agent that writes for many companies. They probably have several that write full year policies.
Progressive only writes annual policies in some states. Most states they only write 6 month policies. GEICO, as far as I know, only writes 6 month policies.

Instead of wasting your time calling and emailing a bunch of different insurance agencies, try a site like Insure-Net and have them contact you. When you are filling out your free quote request, just specify that you want to pay for a year at a time. You might even get a lower rate by shopping around a bit. Hope this helps! Good Luck!!!
