When GM fails, what will happen to the car warranties? Who will take care of it?

Jack asked: Chrysler is already bankrupt and GM will be soon. So what is going to happen to the people that have car warranties on their car? Who will take care of the warranty?

Chrysler and GM bankruptcy is reorganization. Not going out of business. There will be dealers to do warranty work. And the government has backed them so warranty’s will remain in effect…………..md
Nothing will happen.
You will still have your warranty until the expiration date or miles.
GM will still take care of the warranty.
